Johanna Soller performs with renowned early music ensembles such as the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and the Hofkapelle Munich. Engagements have taken her to the Theater an der Wien, the International Handel Festival Göttingen, the Thuringian Bach Weeks and the Audi Summer Concerts Ingolstadt, as well as International Organ Concert Series. in the cathedrals of Riga and Passau.
She is Artistic Director of the Vocalconsort Munich founded by her. With this ensemble she specializes in the music of the 17th and 18th centuries against the background of historical performance practice. Since March 2018 she is a scholarship holder in the conductor forum of the German Music Council. As a musical assistant, she worked closely with Kristin von der Goltz and Laurence Cummings.
In 2016, Johanna Soller was appointed organist to the parish church of St. Peter in Munich. In addition, she works as a lecturer in the subject of basso continuo and score playing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
Born in 1989, she received her education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, where she studied the subjects of historical performance practice / harpsichord with Christine Schornsheim Choral conducting with Michael Gläser, organ and sacred music and all graduated with honors.
